Job Description
- Successful candidates will have experience in the design of electrical power systems in a steam and power generation plant
- Design of motor diagrams, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, cable tray layouts, instrument loop sheets, power plans and schedules
- Layout of electrical equipment – switchgear, MCC’s, transformers, motors, lighting panels, lights, disconnects, VFD’s, etc.
- Review vendor drawings to ensure all electrical equipment conforms to specifications
Travel up to 25% out in the field
Job Requirements:
- Ten to twenty years of experience in the design of electrical power systems in a steam and power generation plant
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD Skills including experience using the latest version of AutoCAD
- Specific experience working for an EPC firm involved in steam and power projects would be a PLUS
- Engineering/Design Degree and Field Verification experience a PLUS
